Not sure if these are still relevant but I thought I'd make one too. I think I already made a similar journal before so I'll keep it a bit more brief; the first time I saw this place was way back in 2003 on a day at a pc lab or something on High School, some guys were searching for images, and I saw they were on that familiar green colored scheme of this site, and that logo.
It wasn't until Feb 2009 that I made an account, back then I started as raikoh14, which wasn't really the name that I wanted, but back then It wasn't possible to change the name.

Anyway here's what was my very first deviation post, and also my first digital drawing.
I remember I did this on a website called Tegaki-e, and it was done using an old laptop that barely run well and a mouse.
And that was the only way I could do and post arts digitally, I didn't had a scanner or even drawing material to do stuff tradionally.
Now for some interesting early Fan art related stuff.
My first Star Wars fan art, and my first drawing of Ahsoka, made in Sept. 2009 I think
I don't have it on my gallery anymore, but I do recall my first tranformers fanart was of Sari Sumdac, I'll see if I can find it after I post this.
My first Pony fan art, which actually was also a crossover with TFP funny enough, was Pinkie Pie, with Megatron.

This place has given me a reason to do and create something, and it has also helped me to not only have my art being displayed around the world, but also become aquainted with many people that shared things I love and could converse through my 5 five years of using this place.
