What I remember about the fall of Equestria is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Pinkie Wars, the 501st Legion was sent on a top-secret mission to Ponyville. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the trip to Ponyville. Not when Order 66 came down. Not when we kicked down door after door, dragging out every last colt, mare, and filly we could find. And not when we marched into the Castle of Friendship. Not a word.
